Task 2

Reading:

Cafeteria is going to post the menu on the school website this week, including the ingredients and recipes.这么做有两个好处。

好处 1：有利于学生知道自己选择的菜是否健康;

好处 2：可以帮助学生学做饭。

Listening: the woman agrees

好处 1：提前知道 ingredients 对学生的健康是有帮助的，学生就不会吃成分不健康的食物了。例如她以前不知道，但是后来发现她常吃的食品里含有 too much sugar。

2. 毕业生们在毕业以后经常需要自己做饭，因此有了食谱，学生们就可以提前练习cooking 了。

Reverse mentoring

Reverse mentoring 是指公司的新老员工互相帮助，共同进步。The older employees would tutor the younger ones as mentors, and the younger employees will also teach

the older ones their with specific abilities.

Listening:

听力举例说，教授的一个朋友干了 20 年的 editor，很有行业经验，但不会用 internet and email交流，只会用 phone 和 face-to-face 交流。然后公司来了一个 junior editor，虽然经验不足，但很会用 internet and email，于是年轻的 editor 就教这位 experience editor use internet and email，experience editor 则给这位年轻人传授行业的相关知识和技能。最后这位年长的 editor 可以利用 internet 和 email 更自如地工作，年轻人 do a better job in editing。

Task 4

北极动物在极冷环境下的生存方式。

方法 1：Preventing slipping。例如北极熊 have a thick fur，所以可以更稳地在冰上跑;

方法 2：Breaking the ice to breathe。例如一种动物有 pointed and sharp teeth，所以它们能break the ice to make a breath hole while hunting underneath.
