雅思英语语法 :英文阅读不等于翻译

很多学生在做英文阅读理解时也会犯同样的错误：逐字翻译，这种方法也许适合于一些字数较少的阅读和文章精读，但遇到既难又长的阅读理解，大多数同学都会发现，文章根本读不完!因此，做阅读理解需要的是抓住句子的主干，而不仅仅是翻译。

快读的一种方法是在读句子时去掉枝条——名词+介词。

1.基本介词+名词，例如：in the morning,by bus等。

English is important in life, because people can get a higher salary with English skills.

这个句子被“删减”后，句子主干如下：

English is important, because people can get a higher salary

2.诸如due to、because of sth等特殊介词+名词。

People love brand-name items such as those by Gucci and Nike because of their stylish design.

以下是句子结构：

People love brand-name items

3.介词+名词扩展，名词扩展=冠词/所有格+(副词)+(副词)+(形容词)+名词。

I saw a movie with my close friend. I chose the movie A among many movies including B. the movie was my favorite of all time.
