雅思作文7分范文赏析

　　五月二十五日的考试，是个小考，在周四。正因如此，对本次考试关注的考生并不多。有些意外的是，本次考试的话题仍然是媒体和犯罪的结合。这与几天前的周六的考题同属一个分类。甚至可以说是大同小异。当然，本次的考题又是一个老题重现。

　　Detailed description of crimes on newspaper and TV can have bad consequences on society, so this kind of information should be restricted on media. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? 20170525

　　此题干中有一个较为关键的词“restrict”, 考生一定要将其与ban一词区分开。二者的含义大相径庭。前者的意思是严管，约束和限制。而后者相对更为，就是禁止。在这个题干中，前者几乎决定了本文的结论。因此，考生对于此类词汇一定要格外慎重。

　　In this age of information, media are dominant sources of information for a considerable proportion of people, and hereby what media can show in their coverage should be selected carefully. Detailed description of crimes, thus, ought to be restrained severely by authorities.

　　开头段，较为清晰地介绍了背景。然后，阐明了笔者的观点。全文是一个一面倒的论证方式。因此，下文三个主段分别论述了，赞同题干观点的三个原因。

　　The primary reason is that curiosity of young people and teenagers might motivate them to simulate what they see or read from media. Those crime details are exactly freshness and excitement that the young are seeking for every day. Without the ability of distinguishing between right and wrong, those young people adversely affected by crime details are more likely to violate laws with behaving like what they have seen in media.

　　主段一是同意题干的观点。

　　In addition, coverage containing information like crime details are definitely textbooks for would-be offenders in our society. Watching TV programs or reading news like this, those potential criminals can easily polish their criminal plans, endangering public security and making troubles for police officers. People would readily imagine what would happen if all bumbling burglars are able to commit high-intelligence crimes.

　　主段二与主段一类似，仍然介绍同意题干的观点。

　　More importantly, detailed information of crimes on media can, without a hitch, create unnecessary fear and panic for the public. For instance, detailed description of some criminal cases may consist of some violence, which does not only give rise to discomfort of viewers but also convinces people to believe that they are living in danger all the time.

　　主段三亦是如此。三个观点并列，逻辑简单清晰。

　　In conclusion, authorities are supposed to commit themselves to restraining how media report crimes, what they can broadcast and what they cannot.

　　结尾段较为简短，重述了笔者的立场。
