If I had a day off, I wouldn’t feel like doing anything special. I would just want to take a hot shower and read a book in a comfy lounge. For me, taking a hot shower or reading a book can let my worries sort of wash away and they are basic relaxation techniques.

As I can imagine, getting back to work after an unexpected day off will be terrible since it’s easy to get anxious when I realize vacations go by so fast.

With an unexpected day off, I'll probably end up inviting my friends to come over for dinner. It’s a great chance to show off my cooking skills by making a hearty meal since it is really a fun way to bond with my best friends.

I would probably feel quite refreshed when I come back from the short break since I was getting spoiled and the time was productive for me. I may feel relaxed and ready to face the world of work rather than end-of-holiday dread.

For the most part, it is easy to get stuck in daily routine when everything stays unchanged. Trying something new or creative would really put me in a totally different state of mind, which make me feel motivated in work to some extent.
