　　Airbnb源起两位联合创始人Brian Chesky和Joe Gebbia的资金短缺。因为没有钱付房租，他们尝试在行业会议期间将空间出租给那些没能订上酒店的人，并且提供简单的早餐。这也是Airbnb名称的由来：客厅的空气床垫（Airbed）+早餐（Breakfast）。

　　哈佛大学毕业的Nathan于2008年2月正式加入，并且成为了第三位联合创始人。2008年8月，Airbnb开始试运行。

　　Graduated from Harvard University in 2008 formally joined the Nathan in February, and became the third co-founder. In 2008 August, Airbnb began trial operation.

　　关于Airbnb成立初期有很多有意思的小故事，比如他们三位联合创始人曾经为了筹钱而去推销麦片。在差不多2个月的时间里他们筹到了3万美元，并且引起了美国孵化机构Y Combinator创始人Paul Graham的注意，得以进入Y Combinator接受孵化。

　　There are many little stories interesting about Airbnb at the beginning of the establishment, such as their three co-founder once in order to raise money to sell cereal.
